Gachiakuta Filler List

A teenager from the Sphere’s slums, descended from criminals and treated as one on sight. He scavenges the rubbish everyone else throws away, which is exactly why he can hear it: Rudo is a Giver, able to wake the soul sleeping inside a used object. Framed for the murder of his foster father Regto and thrown into the Pit, he takes up the gloves Regto gave him as his Vital Instrument and starts fighting his way back toward the people who put him there.

The Cleaner who catches Rudo when he falls out of the sky, and the reason he survives his first day on the Ground. Loud, grinning and almost impossible to insult, Enjin fights with a Vital Instrument called Umbreaker and treats Rudo’s rage as something worth training rather than something to calm down.

A former Hell Guard trainee who washed out and joined the Cleaners’ Akuta unit instead. He is blunt to the point of rudeness and openly resents Rudo at first, which makes him one of the few people willing to tell him the truth. His Vital Instrument, Lovely Assistaff, is a staff.

A retired hitman now working as a Cleaner, and the member who takes Rudo out on his first real job. She fights with an enormous pair of scissors held in her feet, an unnerving style that fits a woman who stays calm through things nobody else does.

The man who took Rudo in after he lost his parents and raised him to take care of what he owned rather than throw it away. He gives Rudo a pair of gloves; his murder is the crime Rudo is convicted of, and those gloves become the weapon Rudo carries into the Pit.

A girl from the same slum as Rudo and one of the very few people up there who worries about him rather than avoiding him. She is the last thing tying him to the Sphere after Regto’s death.
