About SkipTheFiller
What This Site Is
SkipTheFiller is an episode-by-episode reference guide for anime fans who want to know which episodes follow the original source material (canon), which are anime-original content not found in the manga or light novel (filler), and which blend both (mixed). The goal is simple: let you spend your watch time on the episodes that actually matter to the story, without missing anything essential.
Why This Exists
Long-running shonen series in particular can run for hundreds or even over a thousand episodes, with filler content scattered unevenly throughout. Figuring out what's safe to skip usually means digging through forum threads, wikis, and inconsistent lists. This site exists to put that information in one consistent, searchable place, organized the same way across every series it covers.
How Classifications Are Compiled
Episode canon/filler/mixed status, character information, and voice actor credits are collated from publicly available community sources — including fan wikis, established anime databases, and long-standing fan discussion around each series. This is not original reporting; it's an aggregation and organization effort. Where sources disagree, judgment calls are made, and mistakes can happen. Episode descriptions are written for this site.
Corrections
If you spot an error — a miscategorized episode, an incorrect character detail, or anything else — please get in touch, or leave a comment on the relevant page. Corrections are genuinely welcome; the goal is accuracy, not just coverage.
