Sasuke's signature lightning-based technique. A concentrated mass of lightning chakra in the palm is thrust into the target at high speed — the lightning cutting through nearly anything. The name comes from the sound it produces, said to resemble a thousand chirping birds. Created by Kakashi Hatake, it was passed to Sasuke.
The Uchiha clan's legendary dojutsu (eye technique). The Sharingan can copy any technique the user sees, see through illusions, cast powerful Genjutsu, and read movement at high speed. Sasuke awakens his Sharingan during his fight with Haku when he believes Naruto has died.
A Mangekyo Sharingan technique that produces inextinguishable black flames wherever the user looks. Named after the Shinto sun goddess. The flames cannot be put out by any known means and burn until the target is completely consumed. Only the user themselves can extinguish Amaterasu.

Who is Sasuke Uchiha?
Sasuke Uchiha is the deuteragonist of Naruto — initially Naruto's rival and teammate on Team 7. After his entire clan was massacred by his brother Itachi, he dedicated his life to revenge. He eventually defects from the village, joins Orochimaru, and later becomes a major antagonist before ultimately aiding in saving the world.
Does Sasuke kill Itachi?
Yes. Sasuke fights and defeats Itachi in the "Fated Battle Between Brothers" arc. Itachi dies from the effort — it is later revealed he was already terminally ill and allowed Sasuke to kill him. The reveal that Itachi was secretly protecting the village and Sasuke shattered Sasuke's sense of purpose.
What is Sasuke's Rinnegan?
Sasuke receives a Rinnegan in his left eye after being given half of the Sage of Six Paths' power following the battle with Madara. His Rinnegan is special — it has six tomoe and grants him unique abilities including Amenotejikara (space-time teleportation) and the ability to switch places with objects or people.
Does Sasuke come back to the village?
Yes. After the Fourth Ninja World War, Sasuke acknowledges Naruto's strength and their bond. He willingly faces judgment for his crimes and is pardoned largely due to Naruto's insistence. He then leaves on a solo journey of atonement as a "shadow Hokage" protecting the ninja world from the shadows.
Does Sasuke lose his arm?
Yes. Sasuke loses his left arm during his final Valley of the End battle against Naruto at the end of Naruto Shippuden. Unlike Naruto (who receives a prosthetic arm made from Hashirama's cells), Sasuke declines a prosthetic as part of his atonement — he keeps the stump.
