Description

Sasuke's signature lightning-based technique. A concentrated mass of lightning chakra in the palm is thrust into the target at high speed — the lightning cutting through nearly anything. The name comes from the sound it produces, said to resemble a thousand chirping birds. Created by Kakashi Hatake, it was passed to Sasuke.

Trivia & Notes

  • Kakashi's version is called "Raikiri" (Lightning Blade) — Sasuke's is Chidori
  • Can only be safely used with the Sharingan's ability to perceive high-speed reactions
  • Sasuke later expands it into Kirin and other variants
