Biography
Takeru Hokazono is the manga artist behind Kagurabachi, which began serialisation in Weekly Shonen Jump on 18 September 2023. He worked as an assistant before debuting with his own series, and Kagurabachi drew unusually intense attention from its first chapter — initially as an internet phenomenon, and then on the strength of its sword choreography and restrained, revenge-driven plotting. An anime adaptation was announced for Spring 2027.
