Yoshimura, known as 'The Manager' at Anteiku cafe, is one of Tokyo's oldest and most powerful ghouls who has lived for over a century and created the Anteiku sanctuary as a place where ghouls can live without hunting humans, providing them with food from natural deaths. His true identity as the infamous Non-Killing Owl and his history with CCG's counterpart the One-Eyed Owl—his own daughter—give him a tragic depth as a father whose gentleness shaped his daughter's rage. His sacrifice to protect Anteiku in the Owl Suppression Operation is one of the series' most heartbreaking moments of selfless love.
