Psykos is the true leader of the Monster Association who orchestrated its operations from behind the scenes, a psychic esper who sacrificed her humanity and merged with Orochi to become the god-class threat Psykorochi in the Monster Association Arc's climax. Her backstory as a former psychic researcher who predicted a coming apocalypse and founded the Monster Association as a response to her vision gives her ideology an internal logic that distinguishes her from purely sadistic villains. Her battle with Tatsumaki—a clash between two of the world's most powerful espers—is one of OPM's most visually spectacular confrontations.
