No. Portgas D. Ace died at Marineford (episodes 482–483) when Fleet Admiral Akainu's magma fist pierced his body as he shielded Luffy from the attack. His death is one of the most emotionally devastating moments in One Piece.

Ace's biological father is Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King. His mother, Portgas D. Rouge, carried him for 20 months beyond normal term to hide his existence from the World Government and died shortly after his birth.

Ace ate the Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit), a Logia that transforms him into and gives him full control over fire. He could launch devastating fire attacks and use techniques like "Enkai: Hibashira" (column of fire) and "Hiken" (fire fist — his namesake).

Ace was captured by Blackbeard and handed to the World Government, who sentenced him to public execution at Marineford. His execution was intended to bait Whitebeard into a war — a trap to eliminate the Whitebeard Pirates.

Ace is Luffy's sworn older brother — not by blood but by a childhood vow of brotherhood sealed by sharing sake cups with Sabo. Ace watched over Luffy in Foosha Village and trained under Dadan the mountain bandit alongside him and Sabo.
