Vinsmoke Reiju is the eldest child of the Vinsmoke family and only daughter, genetically engineered with superhuman abilities but with her emotions deliberately left intact—a fact she was forced to hide beneath a cold exterior to survive her father's regime. She secretly aided Sanji's escape from the family years before the story began and later risked her life to help the Straw Hats escape Big Mom's assassination attempt at the wedding. Her compassion hidden beneath a mask of noble detachment makes her one of the Whole Cake Island Arc's most sympathetic figures.
