Sengoku was the Fleet Admiral of the Marine Headquarters during the events of the Marineford War and one of the most powerful military figures in the world, wielding the Hito Hito no Mi: Model Daibutsu which transforms him into a colossal golden Buddha. Despite his commanding nature and dedication to absolute justice, he showed unexpected compassion by publicly acknowledging Ace's parentage and quietly retiring after the war.
