Scratchmen Apoo is the captain of the On-Air Pirates and a Supernova who had secretly allied with Kaido long before the Wano Arc began, wielding the Oto Oto no Mi which allows him to weaponize music by transforming parts of his body into instruments and unleashing devastating sound attacks. His betrayal of the Kid-Hawkins-Apoo alliance at Kaido's reveal on Wano was a shocking early indicator of the Emperor's inescapable web of subordination. His obnoxious personality, his DJ-inspired combat style, and his role as a spy within the Beast Pirates make him one of One Piece's most uniquely themed antagonists.
