Rebecca is the daughter of Kyros and Scarlett (daughter of King Riku), who grew up in the Colosseum fighting as a gladiator to survive after Doflamingo's takeover transformed her father Kyros into a toy and erased everyone's memories of him. Her only offensive tactic — spinning defensively and letting enemies' attacks bounce off her own momentum — kept her undefeated in the ring without requiring her to deliver a single offensive blow. Her reunion with her father and her eventual abdication to live with him as his daughter rather than a princess gives her arc one of the most touching resolutions in Dressrosa.
