Kurozumi Orochi is the illegitimate shogun of Wano Country who ruled through fear and borrowed power from Kaido, wielding the Hebi Hebi no Mi: Model Yamata no Orochi which transforms him into a massive eight-headed serpent. A petty, cruel, and paranoid tyrant consumed by grudges against the Kozuki clan for the persecution of his ancestors, he sacrificed Wano's people and natural resources to Kaido in exchange for protection and power. His cowardly villainy, his obsessive terror of Oden's prophecy, and his multiple dramatic deaths make him one of One Piece's most thoroughly despicable antagonists.
