Oimo is one of two giant gatekeepers who guarded Enies Lobby alongside Kashii, originally believing they were protecting the Giant Warrior Pirates' captains Dorry and Brogy who were being held hostage — a lie Spandam used to control them for fifty years. After Usopp revealed the truth and freed them from Spandam's manipulation, they joined the fight to help the Straw Hats rescue Robin. Their presence at Elbaf connects them back to the Giant Warrior Pirates they served for so long in ignorance.
