Izou is a former member of the Whitebeard Pirates' sixteenth division who originally served Kozuki Oden aboard the Roger Pirates, dressed in traditional uchikake robes and wielding a pair of flintlock pistols with extraordinary precision. He returned to Wano for the final battle against Kaido, fighting alongside his younger brother Kikunojo and the other Nine Red Scabbards as one of Oden's former companions. His loyalty bridging two eras of legendary piracy—both Oden and Whitebeard—and his final stand in Wano cement his legacy as one of the story's most honorable fighters.
