Bellamy 'the Hyena' is a pirate captain who begins the story as a mockery of dreamers, wielding the Bane Bane no Mi which compresses his legs into spring-coils for devastating leaping attacks, and famously laughed at Luffy's dream before being one-shot punched into the ground. Paradoxically, his loss to Luffy sparked a genuine transformation: after witnessing Doflamingo's cruelty, he rejected his former patron's worldview and ultimately sacrificed himself fighting Luffy at Dressrosa as a final act of dignity. His arc from sneering villain to tragic figure who found something worth believing in makes him one of the series' most surprisingly moving supporting characters.
