Basil Hawkins is the captain of the Hawkins Pirates and a Supernova known as 'The Magician,' wielding the Wara Wara no Mi which allows him to redirect damage inflicted on himself to straw voodoo dolls bound to other people. Cool and fatalistic, he reads cards before battles to calculate survival probabilities—a habit that betrays his deeply superstitious and calculated nature. After being forced into Kaido's alliance, he served as a magistrate in Wano before being definitively defeated by Killer, his subordination and quiet resignation making him a tragic portrait of a man who chose the wrong side.
