Absalom is a character from Thriller Bark who served Gecko Moria as the commander of the zombie army's special forces, wielding the Suke Suke no Mi which grants him complete invisibility. His obsession with Nami led to one of the arc's most uncomfortable comedy sequences, but his fate—having his Devil Fruit stolen by Blackbeard's crew after the time-skip—connects him to the larger tragedy of Blackbeard's predatory expansion through the underworld. His power eventually transferred to Shiryu of the Rain, confirming his death in a way the series never showed directly.
