Sakura becomes one of the most skilled medical-nin in the world under Tsunade's tutelage. She can heal severe injuries in real-time during combat, diagnose poisons and diseases, create antidotes, and perform surgical procedures in the field. Her medical expertise makes her one of the most valuable team members in war.

Sakura stores enormous amounts of chakra over years in a seal on her forehead — the same diamond seal Tsunade bears. When released, the stored chakra floods her body, granting her continuous regeneration that makes her effectively unkillable in short-term combat and dramatically amplifies her strength techniques.

Sakura's exceptional chakra control makes her the team's primary countermeasure against genjutsu. She can identify genjutsu, break her own, and more critically — break genjutsu that has been cast on allies by disrupting their chakra flow.
