About
The protagonist — a hyperactive, loud, and deeply kind ninja who carries the Nine-Tails Fox sealed within him. Ostracized by the village that fears the demon inside him, Naruto's goal of becoming Hokage is as much about earning acknowledgment as it is about achievement. His strength comes from sheer refusal to give up.

Techniques & Signature Moves
Naruto's most signature technique. Unlike basic Clone Jutsu which creates illusions, Shadow Clone Jutsu creates physical clones with real mass that can act independently. Each clone shares memories with Naruto upon dispersal. Naruto can create thousands due to his enormous chakra reserves. Originally a forbidden jutsu mastered by Naruto at age 12.
A sphere of concentrated rotating chakra held in the palm. Created by the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze — Naruto's father — and passed to Naruto by Jiraiya. The Rasengan requires no hand seals and is considered a masterwork of chakra control. When it connects, the rotating force grinds through the target like a drill.
Naruto adds his Wind Nature chakra to the Rasengan, creating a massive four-pronged shuriken of concentrated wind chakra. On impact, it expands into a sphere of billions of wind-natured chakra blades that slice apart cells at a microscopic level — an attack Tsunade originally declared too dangerous for any ninja to use (the recoil also damages the user's arm).
By entering complete stillness and absorbing natural energy from the environment, Naruto enters Sage Mode — a heightened state that dramatically amplifies his physical strength, speed, perception, and jutsu power. Learned at Mount Myoboku from the Great Toad Sage Fukasaku. His eyes change with characteristic toad-like orange pigmentation.
After befriending Kurama (the Nine-Tails Fox) through understanding, Naruto can access Kurama's immense chakra willingly. He glows with golden chakra and gains access to Kurama's full power. Later upgraded to Tailed Beast Mode where Naruto manifests Kurama's full form as a golden chakra construct.
Naruto's most powerful form, achieved after receiving power from the Sage of Six Paths (Hagoromo Otsutsuki). Combines Sage Mode with the chakra of all nine Tailed Beasts and Six Paths chakra. Naruto gains Truth-Seeking Balls (black chakra spheres capable of nullifying ninjutsu) and can fly.
Frequently Asked Questions — Naruto Uzumaki
Updated 2026
Who is Naruto Uzumaki?
Naruto Uzumaki is the main protagonist of Naruto. He is a young ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village who dreams of becoming Hokage — the village leader. He carries the Nine-Tails fox demon (Kurama) sealed inside him since birth, which caused much of the village to shun him. Through determination and hard work, he becomes one of the most powerful ninjas in history.
Does Naruto become Hokage?
Yes. Naruto Uzumaki becomes the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village (Konohagakure). This fulfills the lifelong dream he declared in the very first episode. His rise is shown in Naruto Shippuden and confirmed in the epilogue and Boruto series.
What is the Nine-Tails?
The Nine-Tails (Kurama) is one of nine tailed beast demons, the most powerful of them all. It was sealed inside Naruto at his birth by his father, the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, to protect the village. Throughout the series, Naruto gradually befriends Kurama and learns to use its chakra voluntarily.
Does Naruto lose Kurama?
Yes. In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Naruto uses Baryon Mode — a technique that uses both his and Kurama's life force as fuel — to defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki. Kurama dies as a result of this form, and Naruto loses access to all Nine-Tails chakra permanently.
What is Naruto's strongest form?
Naruto's strongest form is Six Paths Sage Mode combined with Nine-Tails Chakra Mode (Kurama mode) — often called "Six Paths Kurama Mode." This form grants him godly power, flight, and the ability to use Truth-Seeking Balls. It was first achieved during the final battle against Madara and Kaguya.
Who are Naruto's parents?
Naruto's father is Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage — one of the most powerful ninjas who ever lived. His mother is Kushina Uzumaki, a powerful kunoichi from the Uzumaki clan known for her incredible chakra reserves and red hair. Both died the night Naruto was born, sacrificing themselves to seal the Nine-Tails.
