Kabuto Yakushi is Orochimaru's primary aide and spy, a medical ninja of extraordinary skill who spent years gathering intelligence as a sleeper agent across multiple villages before revealing his true loyalty to the snake Sannin. After Orochimaru's defeat, he pushed his own body further by integrating Orochimaru's cells and later using the forbidden Edo Tensei to resurrect an army of dead shinobi as the primary threat of the Shinobi World War. His final redemption—breaking the Edo Tensei through wisdom gained in a sage-mode trance—completes one of the series' most complex villain arcs.
