Techniques & Signature Moves
Todoroki's dual Quirk — his right side generates ice and his left side generates fire. The two powers balance each other's temperature regulation. Initially he refuses to use his fire (his father Endeavor's power) as a rejection of Endeavor's obsession. His acceptance of the fire side during the Sports Festival is his character-defining moment.
Todoroki's most powerful ice technique — he releases an enormous wave of ice that rises into a massive vertical wall, instantly freezing everything in front of him. Capable of covering entire arena floors and immobilizing multiple targets simultaneously.
Todoroki simultaneously releases ice and fire — the ice flash-freezes the air while the fire creates a heatwave. The rapid temperature swing and the combination attack makes it extremely difficult to defend against both simultaneously.
