Entrance Exam Arc
What episodes establish the MHA world?
Episodes 1–7. Deku's quirkless childhood, All Might passing One For All, the UA entrance exam, and the beginning of the Hero Course.
What is One For All?
A stockpiling Quirk passed from person to person. It stores accumulated power and Quirks of every previous holder. Deku is the ninth wielder — as One For All grows through each generation, it becomes progressively more powerful.
USJ Arc
What episodes are the USJ arc in MHA?
Episodes 9–13. The League of Villains attacks UA's Unforeseen Simulation Joint facility, aiming to kill All Might.
Who is Tomura Shigaraki?
Shigaraki is All For One's successor and leader of the League of Villains. His Decay Quirk disintegrates anything he touches with all five fingers — later evolving to spread without requiring touch. He is deliberately immature; All For One is shaping him as the perfect vessel.
Sports Festival Arc
What episodes are the Sports Festival arc?
Episodes 14–23. UA's public sports festival where students compete to be scouted by Pro Hero agencies.
What is Todoroki's backstory?
Todoroki deliberately refuses to use his fire side because it came from his abusive father Endeavor, who bred him as a tool to surpass All Might. Deku forces Todoroki to use his full power — the moment Todoroki begins reclaiming his identity rather than living in opposition to his father.
Overhaul Arc
What episodes are the Overhaul arc?
Episodes 63–76. Yakuza leader Chisaki (Overhaul) is using a young girl named Eri — whose Rewind Quirk can restore any living thing to a previous state — to manufacture Quirk-destroying bullets.
How does Eri's Quirk help Deku defeat Overhaul?
Eri's Rewind reverses Deku's body while he fights, healing damage from 100% One For All the instant it occurs — allowing him to sustain maximum power indefinitely for the first time. It produces one of MHA's most visually spectacular fight sequences.
Paranormal Liberation War Arc
What episodes are the Paranormal Liberation War arc?
Episodes 95–113. The Heroes' coordinated raid on the Paranormal Liberation Front — and Shigaraki's awakening as All For One's complete vessel.
What happens to Shigaraki in the War arc?
Shigaraki awakens mid-surgery with a massively enhanced body. His Decay evolves to spread spontaneously across massive areas without requiring touch. The raid turns from a planned operation into a desperate retreat.
