Mirio Togata is a third-year student at UA and one of the Big Three, whose Permeation Quirk makes every part of his body phase through objects—a power so inherently difficult to control that Mirio built an entirely unique fighting style through pure perseverance over thousands of hours of painful training. He was All Might's chosen successor before Izuku inherited One For All, and his willingness to sacrifice his Quirk permanently to save Eri defined him as a hero in the truest sense. His recovery after Quirk loss and his return to hero work demonstrate a spirit that doesn't require superpowers to be extraordinary.
