Izuku Midoriya

Deku's first major combat technique — a massive downward punch with full One For All power. Named after his hometown Detroit (in-universe). The technique creates shockwaves strong enough to break weather patterns. Initially destroys his own arm on use; later refined to work without injury.

The Quirk passed down across generations, accumulating the power and Quirks of all previous holders. Deku is the ninth and final holder. Initially manifests as explosive strength, later Deku unlocks the individual Quirks of all eight previous holders: Blackwhip, Fa Jin, Danger Sense, Smokescreen, Float, Transference, and more. The full power is beyond any single hero.

Deku's developed combat style emphasizing kicks over punches — inspired by the realization that his arms can't survive high-percentage One For All impacts. By channeling power through his legs and wearing the Iron Soles gauntlets, he can deliver powerful kicks without destroying his limbs.

The Quirk of the fifth One For All holder, Daigoro Banjo. Manifests as tendrils of black energy from Deku's arms that can grab, bind, and restrain enemies or propel Deku through the air at high speed. One of Deku's most versatile techniques.

The Quirk of the fourth One For All holder, Hikage Shinomori. Creates a tingling pain sensation whenever danger is near, functioning as a precognitive warning system. Essential for Deku's transition to becoming a more tactically defensive hero.

The Quirk of the third One For All holder, Bruce. Stores kinetic energy through repetitive motion or builds up during battle, releasing it all at once for a massive speed and power boost. Allows Deku to move at explosive speed without relying purely on One For All percentage boosts.
