Fumikage Tokoyami is a student in Class 1-A whose Dark Shadow Quirk manifests as a living shadow creature bound to him that grows more powerful in darkness and uncontrollably feral in pitch black, creating a weapon of devastating power that comes with an equally devastating loss of control. His gothic disposition and his genuine struggle to master an ability that could hurt allies as much as enemies give him one of class 1-A's more complex Quirk management arcs. His internship under Hawks and his development of Ragnarok—a more controlled dark release—mark his growth into one of the class's most specialized and formidable fighters.
