My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission sends the Pro Heroes on an international emergency: a doomsday cult called Humarise has deployed devices worldwide that will release a toxin triggering Quirk Factor overdose in all Quirk users — potentially killing a significant portion of humanity. Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are deployed to different countries to track the devices, but a series of events leaves Deku framed for murder and on the run with Rody Soul, a young criminal who harbors a family secret connected to the cult's leadership. The film expands the MHA world significantly by showing how heroes operate in different countries and cultures.

World Heroes' Mission is the most globally minded of the three MHA films, using the international setting to explore how heroism manifests differently across cultures. Rody Soul is a well-crafted original character whose growth alongside Deku gives the film an emotional anchor beyond the main cast. The mystery element — uncovering the truth behind the doomsday cult's ideology — gives the narrative more structural complexity than the previous two films. Non-canon as with the others, but the film handles its original villain Flect Turn with more thematic depth than most standalone anime movie antagonists, grounding his extremism in a coherent if twisted worldview. Best watched after Season 5 for context on Deku's current power level.
