Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge introduces Cooler — the elder brother of Frieza — who has been watching from a distance as his brother's empire was dismantled by a low-class Saiyan warrior. Deeply invested in the family's honor, Cooler arrives on Earth to eliminate Goku personally, unleashing his elite Armored Squadron in advance. The film's tension comes from Goku operating at reduced power due to injuries, with Gohan and Kuririn initially serving as the main resistance. Cooler himself is defined by his contempt for Frieza's defeat more than any personal ideology, and their dysfunctional sibling relationship is one of the film's most interesting elements.
