Bleach: Memories of Nobody

Bleach: Memories of Nobody is the first Bleach theatrical film, introducing Senna — a mysterious Soul Reaper who cannot access the Seireitei's records and who possesses memories that do not belong to any one person. Strange beings called "Blanks" are appearing in Karakura Town, and a group of exiled Soul Reapers known as the Dark Ones seek to harness Senna's unique nature — she is a Shinenju, a vessel containing the accumulated memories of all Blanks — to destroy both the Soul Society and the living world simultaneously. Ichigo and Rukia work alongside Senna to stop the Dark Ones' plan.

The film is notable for delivering one of the more emotionally resonant original-character storylines across the Bleach films. Senna's mysterious origin and her interactions with Ichigo give the film a melancholic tone that fits well alongside the main series' themes of memory and identity. As with all Bleach films, it is entirely non-canon — Senna and the Blanks have no presence in the manga — but it captures the show's visual energy and Ichigo's core personality effectively. Best enjoyed after the Soul Society arc for familiarity with the main cast. The film features solid action sequences from Studio Pierrot with character-faithful animation.
