Where his father was warm and unserious, Chihiro is cold and methodical, and much of the series' tension comes from how far that focus carries him.

The leader of the Hishaku, the shadowy sorcerer organisation at the heart of the series' central mystery, and Chihiro's primary target. Yura's ambitions revolve around the enchanted blades and what a single wielder could do with the right one, which puts him in direct opposition to Chihiro's search. He functions as the story's arch-nemesis rather than a monster of the week.
