Teknik Terkutuklah — Jujutsu Kaisen

Complete guide to every innate cursed technique and domain expansion — every sorcerer's ability explained. Updated 2026.

What are Cursed Techniques?

In Jujutsu Kaisen, a cursed technique is an innate ability passed down through a sorcerer's genetics. Each technique is unique to the bloodline and manifests differently in each user. Techniques can be extended with additional applications (Lapse, Reversal, or Maximum outputs). Not all sorcerers have innate techniques — those without rely on pure physical enhancement with cursed energy.

A Domain Expansion is the pinnacle of jujutsu — the user manifests their innate technique as a barrier that creates an enclosed reality around the target. Inside the domain, the user's technique is guaranteed to hit. Domains consume massive cursed energy and typically cannot be sustained. A weaker domain can be countered by a stronger one (Domain Clash) or negated by a sorcerer with no domain using a simple barrier (Domain Amplification).

Cursed Techniques (Innate Techniques)

Black Flash

A combat phenomenon where cursed energy is applied within 0.000001 seconds of a physical strike, causing a spatial distortion. The amplified impact hits 2.5x harder than a standard strike. It cannot be intentionally activated — only achieved in peak mental states. Yuji holds the record for consecutive Black Flashes.

Blood Manipulation

Choso's innate technique — control over his own blood (and by extension, Yuji's due to shared lineage). Applications include Piercing Blood (a compressed supersonic blood bullet), Flowing Red Scale (hardening the blood to enhance physical ability), and Blood Meteorite (high-volume blood attacks).

Boogie Woogie

Aoi Todo's technique: by clapping his hands, he can swap the positions of any two things containing cursed energy that he designates. Used tactically mid-combat, Boogie Woogie makes Todo and Yuji nearly unpredictable in their positioning. The swap is instantaneous and can include Todo himself, allies, or enemies.

Cleave

Ryomen Sukuna's primary technique. Cleave adapts to the toughness of its target — against a normal human it cuts cleanly; against a more resilient target it unleashes a proportionally stronger slash. Paired with Dismantle (fixed-power slashes) for devastating combinations.

Curse Manipulation

Suguru Geto's technique: absorbing cursed spirits into special seals on his body and storing them. He can release them on command and merge multiple spirits for power amplification. Geto collected thousands of cursed spirits and could direct them in coordinated attacks. His technique allows him to weaponize the very entities that most sorcerers simply exorcise.

Cursed Speech

Toge Inumaki's technique: every word he speaks carries cursed energy that forces targets to obey literally. Commands like 'Blast Away!' knock enemies back; 'Don't Move!' paralyzes them. The technique is powerful enough to affect Special Grade cursed spirits. The cost: continuous use damages Inumaki's own throat and vocal cords.

Disaster Flames

Jogo's innate technique as a Special Grade Cursed Spirit. He generates and controls fire and volcanic heat — erupting flames, lava, and ash. His Domain Expansion (Coffin of the Iron Mountain) creates a volcanic interior where his technique's sure-hit effect triggers.

Dismantle

The fixed-output version of Sukuna's slashing technique. Unlike Cleave, Dismantle outputs a constant level of destructive force regardless of the target. Sukuna can use both simultaneously across multiple targets.

Divergent Fist

Yuji's early combat technique — his cursed energy releases a moment after physical impact rather than on contact, creating a double-hit effect. It results from his difficulty synchronising cursed energy with physical strikes, but turns into a unique combat advantage.

Idle Death Gamble

Kinji Hakari's Domain Expansion based on a pachinko slot machine. If the jackpot condition is met inside the domain, Hakari gains near-unlimited cursed energy and automatic Reverse Cursed Technique healing, making him functionally immortal for the duration.

Idle Transfiguration

Mahito's innate technique: touching and reshaping souls directly. Since the body is a reflection of the soul in JJK, reshaping a soul physically transforms or kills the body. Mahito can heal himself, create transfigured humans from victims, and even affect sorcerers who have conditioned their souls. His technique is functionally identical to the origin of cursed spirits.

Limitless

Gojo Satoru's innate technique that grants infinite approach — manipulating cursed energy at the atomic scale to create an infinite convergence between himself and any incoming attack. Extensions: Infinity (passive barrier), Blue (attraction/crushing), Red (repulsion/divergence), and Hollow Purple (Blue + Red combined, an unmanned projectile that erases everything in its path).

Ratio Technique

Kento Nanami's innate technique divides any object into ten parts and creates a weak point at the 7:3 ratio line. Every attack Nanami lands on this point is guaranteed critical. He enhances this with the Overtime binding vow — after work hours, his cursed energy output dramatically increases.

Reverse Cursed Technique

By multiplying two negative (cursed) energies together, Gojo and other advanced sorcerers generate positive energy — healing rather than destroying. This technique can heal even fatal wounds. Gojo awakened it mid-battle to repair his brain during the Hidden Inventory arc.

Straw Doll Technique

Nobara Kugisaki's technique using a straw doll and nails. She drives nails into the doll, which transmits the damage to anything connected by the technique. Her resonance attack (Hairpin) drives nails directly into her own body, amplifying the transmitted damage through resonance. Effective even against targets she cannot physically reach.

Ten Shadows Technique

Megumi Fushiguro's innate technique: using shadows as a medium to materialize up to ten shikigami simultaneously. Shikigami include Nue (winged lightning bird), Divine Dogs (tracking), Toad (summon/transport), Max Elephant, Rabbit Escape (diversion), and Great Serpent. His strongest — Mahoraga — cannot be tamed and is usually used as a last resort.

Domain Expansions

Chimera Shadow Garden

Megumi Fushiguro's Domain Expansion. The domain manifests as a sea of liquid shadows from which Megumi can summon all his shikigami simultaneously without effort and at full power, including shikigami still in development. Within the domain, Megumi's Ten Shadows technique reaches its peak.

Infinite Void

Gojo Satoru's Domain Expansion. Inside Infinite Void, the target is bombarded with infinite simultaneous information — every sight, sound, touch, taste, and concept — causing total sensory overload and paralysis. Targets cannot move, think, or act while inside. Even a fraction of a second exposure can leave ordinary people catatonic. The strongest Domain Expansion in the series.

Malevolent Shrine

Sukuna's Domain Expansion — a divine Buddhist shrine surrounded by a landscape of severed skulls. Unlike most domains, Malevolent Shrine does not create a barrier; it expands outward with a guaranteed hit radius of 140m+, affecting everything within range. This open-domain design means it cannot be countered with a simple barrier.

Self-Embodiment of Perfection

Mahito's Domain Expansion. Inside, his Idle Transfiguration technique achieves guaranteed contact — anyone Mahito touches within the domain has their soul reshaped. The domain also reflects Mahito's philosophy that all souls are equal, creating an environment that strips away the psychological defenses sorcerers use to resist soul manipulation.
