Chrollo Lucilfer is the leader of the Phantom Troupe, a charismatic and intellectual thief who wields Skill Hunter, a Nen ability that allows him to steal the Nen abilities of others and store them in his Greed Island catalog book to use as his own. Serene and philosophical in the face of violence, he views the Troupe's collective fate as more important than any individual life—including his own—and his willingness to die while maintaining aesthetic detachment makes him one of anime's most compellingly alien antagonists. His canon battle with Hisoka demonstrated that even without his book he is catastrophically dangerous in his own right.
