Episodes 25–36. War between Fairy Tail and rival guild Phantom Lord, who targets Lucy for her family's wealth.
What is Erza Scarlet's power?
Erza uses Requip: The Knight — magic allowing her to switch armour and weapons instantly mid-battle. She has hundreds of armour sets with different properties including Titania, Heaven's Wheel (ranged blades), and Flame Empress (fire absorption).
Tower of Heaven Arc
What episodes are the Tower of Heaven arc?
Episodes 33–40. Erza's dark past is revealed — she was a slave forced to build the Tower of Heaven, a structure intended to resurrect the dark wizard Zeref.
What is Erza's backstory?
Erza was enslaved as a child alongside orphans and forced to build the Tower of Heaven. After escaping, she joined Fairy Tail. Her childhood friend Jellal was possessed and continued the tower's construction, eventually forcing Erza to confront him in a painful battle.
Tenrou Island Arc
What episodes are the Tenrou Island arc?
Episodes 96–122. The S-Class promotion exam on Fairy Tail's sacred island is interrupted by the Grimoire Heart dark guild hunting Zeref — ending with a seven-year time skip.
What is the seven-year time skip?
Acnologia (the Dragon King) destroys Tenrou Island in episode 122. First Master Mavis Vermillion's Fairy Sphere preserves the strongest members in stasis for seven years. They return to find their once-dominant guild fallen to the bottom of Fiore's rankings.
Grand Magic Games Arc
What episodes are the Grand Magic Games arc?
Episodes 151–203. The annual tournament between Fiore's guilds, colliding timelines, and a dragon invasion.
Who are the dragons that appear?
Future Rogue opens the Eclipse Gate, releasing 10,000 dragons from the past. Dragon Slayers must fight them while the collapsed time paradox ripples outward. Atlas Flame, Motherglare, and others are key to the battle.
Tartaros Arc
What episodes are the Tartaros arc?
Episodes 230–265. Dark guild Tartaros — composed entirely of Etherious demons created by Zeref — plans to activate Face bombs and eliminate all magic from the world.
Is Natsu actually an Etherious demon?
Yes — Natsu is E.N.D. (Etherious Natsu Dragneel) — Zeref's most powerful demon and his beloved younger brother, who died 400 years ago and was resurrected as a demon. This is revealed in the Tartaros arc.
Who is Zeref?
Zeref Dragneel is the most powerful dark wizard in history — over 400 years old and cursed with Ankhseram's Death Curse (anything he loves dies). He genuinely wants to die but cannot achieve it. He is Natsu's older brother — the connection central to the series' final arc.
