Zero Requiem. Lelouch enacts his final plan: gather all the world's hatred onto himself as the ultimate tyrant, then allow himself to be assassinated by Zero — secretly Suzaku — allowing a new world of peace to emerge from his death. The final scene with Nunnally is one of anime's most debated endings.
