Yamamoto's Bankai concentrates all the flames of the universe into his blade — instead of radiating heat outward, the sword reaches temperatures hotter than the sun at its surface. Any contact with the blade incinerates anything instantly. The Western aspect of his Bankai summons enormous pillars of flame.
