Nnoitra Gilga is the Quinta Espada, a tall and sadistic Arrancar who lives to fight and loves only battle and his own superiority, making him one of Bleach's most straightforwardly violent antagonists. His hardened hierro—the toughest physical defense of any Arrancar—along with multiple extendable arms from his release form made him Kenpachi Zaraki's most gratifying opponent, as both men were fighting purely for the joy of a worthy challenge. His history of hunting Nel and degrading her after her defeat adds a deeply personal dimension to his villainy.
