Nel Tu is a small, childlike Arrancar met by Ichigo in the desert of Hueco Mundo who appears to be a young girl with a cracked helmet and a speech impediment, eventually revealed as Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck—the former Third Espada before Nnoitra broke her mask and reduced her to an amnesiac child. Her adult form, briefly awakened by stress, demonstrates a Cero-based power and a Devorar technique that turned her into one of Hueco Mundo's most devastating combatants. Her fondness for Ichigo and her genuinely warm personality in both forms make her one of the Hueco Mundo Arc's most beloved characters.
