Tier Halibel is the Tercera Espada and the only female member of Aizen's top Espada, a calm and commanding woman whose Tiburon release transforms her into a shark-themed form of extraordinary power and whose Agua techniques manipulate water with lethal precision. Unlike most Espada, her motivation for following Aizen was explicitly protective—she joined to keep her three Fracciones safe—giving her a clearly defined code of loyalty that sets her apart from the nihilistic or bloodthirsty members of the group. Her survival after Aizen abandoned and attacked her, and her eventual governance of Hueco Mundo, gave her one of the more dignified final positions among the major antagonists.
