Zora Ideale is a member of the Black Bulls and the son of Zara Ideale, the first commoner to ever become a Magic Knight, whose murder by jealous noble knights planted in Zora an undying contempt for aristocratic corruption in the magic knight system. He uses Ash Magic to lay elaborate trap spells in advance of combat, reversing enemies' attacks back at them with multiplied force—a style that rewards patience and intelligence over raw power. His abrasive personality conceals a fierce moral compass inherited from his father's legacy, and his gradual integration into genuine camaraderie with the Black Bulls is one of the series' most satisfying long-game character arcs.
