Yūki Tabata

Biography

Yuki Tabata is a Japanese manga artist who created Black Clover, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2015. Before Black Clover, Tabata worked as an assistant and published the one-shot Hungry Joker. Black Clover built a dedicated fanbase through its escalating stakes and improving art quality. The anime adaptation by Pierrot ran for 170 episodes. Tabata has discussed how the series was motivated by a desire to tell a straightforward friendship story rooted in shonen genre traditions.
