Battle of Trost Arc
What episodes are the Battle of Trost arc?
Episodes 5–13. The first major defensive battle in Trost District, and Eren's discovery that he can transform into a Titan.
Can Eren transform into a Titan?
Yes — Eren discovers in episode 8 that he can transform into a 15-meter Titan by injuring himself with intent. He uses it to manually seal the Trost gate with a boulder, saving the district.
Female Titan Arc
What episodes are the Female Titan arc?
Episodes 17–25. An intelligent Female Titan hunts Eren inside the Forest of Giant Trees — revealing that Titan Shifters exist among the enemy.
Who is the Female Titan?
Annie Leonhart — a fellow cadet who was a Marleyan warrior sent to retrieve the Founding Titan. Captured in episode 25, she crystallizes herself in a defensive cocoon and remains sealed and unextractable for years.
Clash of the Titans Arc
What episodes are the Clash of the Titans arc?
Season 2 episodes 26–33. The Armored and Colossal Titans are revealed among the cadets, and the Beast Titan appears.
Who are the Armored Titan and Colossal Titan?
The Armored Titan is Reiner Braun; the Colossal Titan is Bertolt Hoover — both revealed in episode 31. They were fellow cadets all along. Their reveal recontextualizes everything about them from the very first episode.
Return to Shiganshina Arc
What episodes are the Return to Shiganshina arc?
Season 3 Part 2 (eps 38–49). The mission to seal Wall Maria and discover the truth inside Grisha Yeager's basement.
What is in Grisha's basement?
Memory records and photographs revealing that humanity outside the walls was never wiped out. The world has nations who call those inside 'subjects of Ymir.' The walls were built 100 years ago to erase everyone's memories of the outside world.
What is Levi's role in the Shiganshina battle?
Levi single-handedly defeats the Beast Titan (Zeke) using Thunder Spears in a precision coordinated attack — feigning retreat, then launching from concealment to blind and shred Zeke in seconds. Widely considered the greatest action sequence in the series.
War for Paradis Arc
What episodes are the War for Paradis arc?
Final Season Parts 1–3. Eren plans the Rumbling — unleashing the Wall Titans on every nation outside Paradis — while the Survey Corps allies with Marley to stop him.
What is Eren's plan in the final arc?
Eren activates the Rumbling using the Founding Titan — releasing millions of Wall Titans to flatten the entire world outside Paradis. He believes it is the only way to give his friends true freedom, even though it requires the genocide of the outside world.
What is the Rumbling?
The activation of the Wall Titans — the Colossal Titans forming the three walls. When released, they march across continents flattening everything. Eren uses them as weapons of mass destruction against the nations that persecuted Eldians.
